Fishing

Fishing (angling) is only permitted at marked fishing points within the designated fishing area at Folkestone Harbour. Fishing is not permitted in any other area of the site for the safety of all other visitors.

The designated fishing area is on the upper section of the Harbour Arm and there are 30 fishing points available on a first come first served basis. The designated fishing area and the fishing points are clearly marked and must be adhered to.

We do not charge an angling fee and we want to continue to be able to provide it for no cost, in order to allow this please co-operate with the above rules at all times whilst Fishing on our site.

The Harbour is privately owned and maintained by Folkestone Harbour Company Ltd. Access is permissive. Folkestone Harbour Team has the right to remove anyone from site in case of breach or disregard of the rules.

All visitors are asked to take care and be considerate of others when walking around the site. Please be mindful of uneven surfaces around the harbour. Surface can be slippery when wet. Due to the historic nature of the harbour please be cautious of various surfaces around the site.

Visitors must follow the rules on our site. Signage is installed with the rules relevant to the specific site across the harbour to ensure the safety of all visitors.

 

Parking

Folkestone Harbour Car Parks operate an ANPR parking system. Please pay for parking at the end of your visit at the pay stations or by card at the exit barrier.
